Dr. Abedi joined Gastro Health after spending 13 years as a teaching faculty in VA & DC. His areas of expertise include all aspects of pancreatobiliary endoscopy EUS/FNA, ERCP, gastrointestinal cancers and premalignant diseases including endoscopic mucosal resection of difficult colonic polyps. He is Director of endoscopic services at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. 

Dr. Abedi is an expert in ERCP, endosonography with fine needle aspiration, lumenal stenting, endoscopic mucosal resection and complex endoscopic procedures in the management of GI disorders. He is also an expert in pancreatic and biliary tract disorders and peptic ulcer diseases.

Based at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Dr. Abedi remains at the cutting edge of advanced endoscopic procedures.

Dr. Abedi is fluent in Farsi and currently accepting new patients in our Fairfax office location.
