Clinical Research Coordinator

Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant (PA), under the supervision of the physicians, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management.  The PA will be formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative health care services, as delegated by the physician.  Working as members of the health care team, they take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, and make diagnoses.  The PA will record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and order or carry out therapy.
