Virtual Healthcare Option Coming Soon

In our efforts to ensure continuity of care as COVID-19 reaches its peak, we will soon be contacting patients, particularly those at high risk, to offer options to convert clinic-based appointments to virtual appointments. Our telemedicine capabilities will soon allow for our established, follow up appointments, patients at high risk whether due to age, immunosuppression, chronic health condition or those experiencing symptoms of any respiratory illness to be seen in a secure virtual, appointment online. This will also allow us to safely perform virtual office visits with those patients that are asked or mandated to quarantine at home. More information will be published on our telemedicine program shortly.

Infusion Patient Appointments Will Continue As Scheduled

We understand, continuity of care and access to infusion treatments is very important. Our facility safeguards will continue to allow ALL INFUSION PATIENTS, patients on immunosuppressive drugs for IBD, or autoimmune hepatitis to continue to obtain infusion treatments to avoid flares. The risk of disease flare, outweighs the chance of developing COVID-19. As telemedicine becomes available,  these individuals will be given priority scheduling due to their inherent higher risks. Our office team will be reaching out to patients to advise of any changes to our clinical schedule. At this time please practice social distancing to minimize personal exposure risks.

These collective efforts from each us will help to preserve Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and support our local healthcare systems as we prepare for potential shortages during the peak of the pandemic.

Our website will be updated regularly, please continue to utilize your patient portal at MyGANV.com or call 703-698-8960.

Sincerely,

Clinical Governance Board of Directors, Virginia
